This should give you plenty of time to slowly tell your hubbies that yes, you will be out one night this month. Hope all can make it! I will post a follow up email that week to remind you all and to see how many are planning on coming.

I was told that Desserts at Ruths Chris are YUMMY and run about $10.00.

Perfect Mom Syndrome or PMS!

So it was a good time and as promised, I'm finally here to post the notes from last Tuesday's MOPS meeting. The title was, "PMS - Overcoming the Perfect Mom Syndrome". If you missed it and want to check it out or if you heard it and want to revisit, let me know. It's actually in document form and rather than bore everyone with 3 pages of notes, please leave a comment and I will send it over to you. Unless Jackie can reply to me with an easier way to link the notes to this??? Any ideas Jackie? Until then, reply to me, leave a comment with your request or send your courier pigeon over for a pick up. You choose.

Thank you all who so graciously humored me by listening to me speak last week. It was an honor and a privilege to share this information with you all. My hope and prayer for you is that you will be touched by His words and commands as we venture through this crazy and wonderful journey of motherhood.

And of course I would love to give credit where credit is due for the notes I used. I have been blessed beyond belief to travel down to L.A. the last two years to attend the Women discipling Women Conference. One of the many seminars that I attended last July was this one by Connie Larson. When I spoke at MOPS last Tuesday I did add some of my own material in as well, that being mostly notes that I took while I was in attendance. There is a audio version of this seminar available if anyone is interested. The more women we equip for the Lord's glory, the better.

Story Time....

at Berean Christian Store at 10:30am. They read 3 stories and sing songs between the stories. Sam loved it! Allie, well, I think others were thinking, "Can't she control her child." Good thing I had Cindy's chat in mind, so I really did not care that she kept taking the books or throwing things(she thinks she was handing things)to the other kids. It made me laugh. All the other girls were sitting there so nicely, but not my Allie. She had her own type of fun! Sam was the loudest singer, Yes, so proud! They also have a drawing at the end of story time for the books that were read. We are going back next week, so I would love to have some other moms join me!

....And Brooke, I got a T-shirt for my hubby for Valentine's Day that says, "I love my family." and the Fireproof movie too! Not many shirts left, so if you want one go soon! $27.00 for the movie and T-shirt.

Starbucks Girls Night Out

Last nights Starbucks run was very nice. It was a small group. Just Lora, Heather, Jessica and my self. We just drank our choice of overpriced coffee drink & chatted about motherhood and life. It was good girlie fun! Thanks Lora for suggesting it and I'm looking forward to Ruth's Chris dessert with the ladies when Katie can come (be praying for Emma's up in coming surgery)!
