I just wanted to say that the store employees were concerned, sympathetic and it totally took me by surprise. The janitor came out to my car twice to check on us and see if we needed anything. The cashier was very concerned too. I wanted to thank them for making the situation so much better than it could have been and so I thought why not write a review and tell my friends that this is somewhere I can highly recommend as a mom for more than one reason! (and after today I know they'll remember us):

Review
I know you're probably thinking this is totally random for the MOPS blog but you'll see why I am compelled to tell you to shop at the Meat Market in just a moment. My children came down with the flu Saturday evening. Sunday and Monday they were symptom-free so Tuesday we were doing many errands one of which was the Meat Market. At this store one of my children threw up, not just a little, a lot, and it was a really big mess. (I am not exaggerating!)

That is what happened to Sam. He threw up on a Friday and then not again until Tuesday...in the car of course. Why is it always somewhere other than home. It is nice to see that they were helpful. I like The Meat Market!
Wow...so many kiddos with the flu. Brooke's Lilly got it too, yesterday.
Thanks for the info on Meat Market. I wish their was one closer to my house, though! But I LOVE their meat!
Carrie- there is one in Clovis now. Is that closer to you?
Oh I am so sorry to hear all the kids are sick. I am so thankful that we don't have to meet this week. Sure am glad the Lord knows how to time things just right. I hope you all stay clear of the sicklies and I hope the kiddos all get well soon.
Did anyone get their kids the flu shot? Did you just get it from shopping carts or something? If you have an idea, please post it so I know where to stay away from. ;>)
We got flu shots last Tuesday but I was told that they don't actually protect you from the flu for two weeks. We probably got it from church. It's just that time of year!
We go the flu shot and STILL got the flu! Fun times ;).
My kids had their flu shots on Friday. I've heard that when you get the vaccine, there is a chance you could still come down with a bit of the flu since you are injecting it into your body. This hasn't happened to us, but it has to some of my girlfriend and my in-laws. Hence why I don't get one. Go figure. I guess I'm just a big chicken.
My kiddos got the shot too and still, as of today, just Lilly got the flu...who knows, we're really not convinced the shot works that great, but who can say really!
I thought my kids got it from their cousin from San Jose, but now that I see other kids got it that were at New Cov, that could be it too...again, who really knows!
And my kids haven't been there since last Tuesday so we'll see. Lots of Lysol wipes around here at just the thought of getting something. Ick!
