Cricket

A Cricket is a computerized machine that cuts letters from different fonts, pictures ie..Disney. You buy different programs for it and you use it instead of stickets etc... Love it!! But yes, around $400.00. Saw one on a informercial for $350 and it came with a couple of different programs. I told hubby that I wanted one for Christmas and had him watch the infomercial..Ha!. I doubt I will get it though. Jen Garcia has one and I used it once and fell in love with it. Maybe I could get together with her and get a date where she could bring it. Hopefully she will be coming back to MOPS. I will give her a email. I will let you all know.....

That's totally a justifiable purchase! Let me walk you through the steps....

How much is it to buy the letters and cut-outs for each album?

TIMES the amount of albums you make, PLUS the 'impulse' buying that occurs when you actually have to walk into a store, MINUS the added bonus of being able to 'sell your wares' in packets of alphabets or themed cut-outs.

And then you have to add the gratification that comes from knowing you have been a good mom and documented your child's development and milestones in a fashionable way.

That alone cannot have a price tag attached to it.

See? Just tell your husband that Carrie worked it all out for you! LOL!

I have seen them on a good sale at the day after Thanksgiving sales at both Michaels and JoAnns. I have a friend in Bible Study who has one and it is so neat.

Now Carrie, I have some other large ticket items I would like. Can you help justify them, including a live in maid;).

Oh yeah, I've seen it at Joann's but wasn't sure what it was exactly...that'd be fun to see one in action!
