Just thought you all should know that I am so tired today from staying up til 1AM by choice!! All in the name of the USA Women's Gymnastics All Around Competition. Go Nastia and Shawn! (Wow...that's said...I'm calling them by first name like we have a relationship) Sure wish I was 2 foot nothing and a little bouncing gymnast. Did anyone else want to be Mary Lou Retton? On a box of Wheaties? I know Carrie was watching...just wondering if anyone else loves the games. Sure wish it was on earlier.
So I hit up Starbuck this morning for my pipin' hot cup o' joe to make my morning a bit peppy. After the infamous bucks, we hit up Sur La Table in Riverpark for the first time. Has anyone else been there? Talk about a good time. If I had lots of time, money and more coffee, I could cook up a storm. It was quite inspirational. For cooking only of course!
Now I'm crashing and can't wait for child #1 to take her nap. Have a good weekend everyone. And be sure to make some posts so we all have something else to read besides our own lives. ;)

I would love to watch gymnastics, but can not stay up that late. Had to be up at 5am to teach a class this morning.....so I just read about it in the paper. They need to put it on earlier and beach volleyball later!! Love volleyball, but it is more fun to play than watch.
Going to cooking stores depresses me since I still have my yucky old kitchen. I am ready to take a hammer to it. We are trying to decide if we should go for the "works" or keep it simple and less expensive. We are not sure if we are going to stay in this house longer than 5 years.

As NerdDad posted on our blog, we are an Olympic Free house so I wasn't watching. But I just went to Sur La to browse with my cousin. I got a champagne keeper/lid thing. Hopefully it works. NerdDad and I will each have a small glass or 2 and then we still have a half bottle left.
But I love both Starbucks and Sur La, so many gadgets so little money;).
I'm soooo with you on the whole need coffee thanks to the Olympics! However, DVR is a MUST have when watching...that way you can speed through the boats and bikes and get to the Shawn and Nastia, yes, we're on a first name basis too...I cried when Nastia won...so did all others in the room and my girls now both pretend to be Shawn and Nastia as they run around the house frolicking and doing somersaults...just precious!
Side note...Sur La Table is AWESOME! If I had unlimited resources I'd definitely be in that store often!
