Don't hate the crate!!

I just love being able to get so much done around here. And the kids don't even get in my way!!! Ha! I love it. And you too can have one for the price of....

So excited for next Tuesday. We are camping all weekend up at Shaver, so everything needs to be done by tomorrow night...cute laminated name tags and all! =)

Just a week away!

Hi gals! I'm so excited that MOPS is a week away (well, close anyway!)! I can't wait to see what God is going to do in and through our group. I feel so blessed to be on a team with such amazing women! I'm looking forward to the next meeting! Have a blessed week!!!

T-Shirts

Cindy said that we are getting bright red name tags, different from the others so we will stand out. Is there anyone else that likes the T-shirt idea or do you want to just do the name tags?

I was looking at the MOPS shop and saw that the T-shirts were $7.99. I was thinking that it would be neat to all wear those T-shirts for the first couple of meetings. Everyone would know who is on the steering team by just looking around the room. What do you think? We could place one order to reduce the cost of shipping.

Love me some Olympics!!

Just thought you all should know that I am so tired today from staying up til 1AM by choice!! All in the name of the USA Women's Gymnastics All Around Competition. Go Nastia and Shawn! (Wow...that's said...I'm calling them by first name like we have a relationship) Sure wish I was 2 foot nothing and a little bouncing gymnast. Did anyone else want to be Mary Lou Retton? On a box of Wheaties? I know Carrie was watching...just wondering if anyone else loves the games. Sure wish it was on earlier.

So I hit up Starbuck this morning for my pipin' hot cup o' joe to make my morning a bit peppy. After the infamous bucks, we hit up Sur La Table in Riverpark for the first time. Has anyone else been there? Talk about a good time. If I had lots of time, money and more coffee, I could cook up a storm. It was quite inspirational. For cooking only of course!

Now I'm crashing and can't wait for child #1 to take her nap. Have a good weekend everyone. And be sure to make some posts so we all have something else to read besides our own lives. ;)

Playdate...can't wait!

Just wanted to say I can't wait for our playdate on Monday! Hope you guys can be there! I had such a fun time with everyone over and getting to know a few of you much better than before at the last one. Anyway! I'm looking forward to it!

NEVER TILE : )

So, just a word of wisdom (rather opinion). Kevin and I just re-tiled our entry way, kitchen, and dining room...we had a friend help a couple of days, but it seriously took about a weeks worth of work. NOT worth it! Hire it out if you can afford it, or do wood. I'm telling you...yes, it looks great...but we feel like we're never gonna catch up on the exhaustion! : ) I'm amazed by all you "house flippers" out there who enjoy this stuff. I tell ya, we had to have my parents babysit for 3 days and we didn't even have a date! The closest we got was In and Out through the drive-thru! : ) Anyone like doing this sort of stuff? Are we just big wusses? (Okay, maybe don't answer the 2nd question) : ) Hope ya'll have had productive weeks!

No way...I'm blogging!! Whoa!

So this is fun, but I really should be moving laundry over or something productive while both kids are down. Guess not. Thank you so much Jackie for this 'blog'. Maybe one day I'll have enough computer savvy to equal the amount that you have in your pinkie finger nail. Wish me luck.

Does anyone know where I can get our sleeping bags laundered for a decent price? I would like to have them laundered and not wait around a laundry mat pumping quarters in a machine, watching CNN while trying to wrangle two lively kids. Just thought I'd ask.

So I'm off to do some lunch dishes and laundry. And maybe a nap for 20 min if I'm super lucky! Hope everyone is having a great Monday.
