BOB THE BUILDER is in Fresno
Ok Ladies, I found a place that you can take the kids to play and get out of the heat! Intrigued...... The Fresno Met (Metropolitan Museum, 1555 Van Ness, Downtown) has Bob the Builder a hands on exhibit for all ages. The Lencioni Family went there for Fathers Day and had a blast. It was like Christmas morning, Gavin was all over the place building, fixing and planting. The cool thing is that on Wednesday- Fridays its FREE admission for the first 25 visitors. Can't beat FREE. The exhibit runs until September so there's plenty of time to check it out. I know we are heading back for the second time on Wednesday the July 15th if anyone is interested to meet for a play date just email me. Its great fun for boys and girls and you don't even have to be a fan of Bob to have a great time. Hope you can make it out. Stacy

Homeschool Informational Meeting
Thinking about homeschooling? Want to know what you have to do and what is optional? If so please join me this Tuesday (June 16th) at 9am for an informal meeting upstairs at New Covenant Church. There is even free childcare but I must know how many kids you will be bringing. Feel free to invite anyone who might be interested but I must have a count for childcare. Also, email me any questions you have about homeschooling so I can make sure that I am covering what you all need. Remember there are no dumb questions!

SUMMER BOOK CLUB
Thursday mornings from 9-11am in room 204 beginning June 18th and runs through July 23rd. (There will be a break on July 2nd for VBS) We will be reading "I Dared to Call Him Father" by Bilquis Sheikh. This is a miraculous story of a Muslim Woman's encounter with God. Books and a reading schedule can be picked up at the Women's Ministry cart Sundays for $15 or can be purchased at our first meeting.
Childcare is provided but they need to know how many kids. If you have signed up for the book club or are planning to but have not let them know, please reply to this with the number of kids who will be in childcare and I will pass it on to Stephanie B.

Questions about Homeschooling? ***UPDATED***
Update: I was mistaken on the price. It is $25 per person, not per couple. There is no childcare and breastfeeding babies are welcome. Sorry about the confusion!!!
If you have questions about Homeschooling, you can find information at Riverpark Bible Church this Friday and Saturday. This event only happens once a year and is $25 per person.
